Chicken spur hemorrhoids caused by what?

Chicken spur hemorrhoids are a painful condition caused by swollen and inflamed veins in the anal area.

These veins are supported by a layer of tissue known as the anal cushion, which helps expand the anus while excreting and helps to keep the anus closed in normal condition.

However, when this tissue moves down below, it can cause chicken spur hemorrhoids to develop.

This can be due to straining during bowel movements, obesity, pregnancy or childbirth, low fiber diet, chronic constipation or diarrhea and even sitting for long periods of time.
